Straight Circles
Straight Circles are a high energy, 4 piece band playing hits from the 50s and 60s. They aim to bring back the authentic sound of a live band whilst performing some classic hits as well putting their own spin on some of their favourites.
Straight Circles are based out of Berkshire and Surrey but travel extensively over the country and the world, playing at Holiday Parks such as Butlins, Haven and Hobourne, Hotels like Warner Leisure and Cruises such as SAGA, Cunard and P&O. They have been entertaining guests onboard SAGA ships since 2023 not just in their performances but whilst meeting guests and socialising around the ship.
The band encourages everyone who comes to the shows to dance, sing and cheer along with them as they love to get the ship rocking!
Vocals/Guitar;
Lead Vocals and Guitar, Liam comes from Guildford, Surrey. He has been singing all his life in competitions, professionally and for fun since a very young age. He used his experience to perform in and win competitions which helped propel the band into the view of different agents where he deftly developed relationships which helped to grow the band into what it is today!
Drums;
Eric also comes from Guildford, Surrey. The son of two police officers, he spent his youth playing in local county music ensembles as a percussionist. As he grew up he obtained a degree in drumming from the Academy of Contemporary Music as well as teaching percussion through the county council's music program. Eric is now using his skills to perform and produce music, including the band's own CD!
Bass;
Charlie has been playing bass for as long as the rest of the band has been alive and he doesn't let them forget it. From Bracknell, Berkshire he is the senior of the band but with that comes wisdom that has been invaluable to the group. His love of bass started after hearing The Beatles at an early age and his passion grew from there!
Guitar/Vocals:
Raised in Sandhurst, Berkshire, Oliver started playing guitar on a whim after his primary school started offering lessons. He quickly developed a taste for playing and began to progress and keep challenging himself. Learning Classical and Flamenco guitar before discovering Blues music, he quickly started to adapt his playing to a more contemporary and original style where he can express himself through his improvisation and performance on stage.
